SSC Steno Grade C & D Notification 2023 has been issued by the Staff Selection Commission on 2nd August 2023. The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for direct recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ (Group ‘B’, NonGazetted) and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’) in various Ministries/Departments/Organizations including their Attached offices, Subordinate offices and Statutory bodies of the Government of India located in various States and Union Territories.

3. Educational Qualifications:

  • Each section carries equal marks, and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

  • The second stage of the selection process is the Skill Test or Stenography Test.
    • Only those candidates who qualify in the Computer-Based Examination are eligible for the Skill Test.

    • Candidates are required to transcribe one dictation in English or Hindi at a speed of 100 words per minute for Grade C posts.
