BSF & SBI Join Hands for ‘Grow with the Trees’ Plantation Drive in Srinagar
The Border Security Forces in collaboration with SBI Bank, organized a “Grow with the Trees” plantation drive at BSF Headquarters in Srinagar.
The drive aimed to create a sustainable environment, promote tree plantation, and foster community and teamwork.
Numerous trees were planted in that area in order to continue the efforts to maintain a green and healthy environment in the area.

UNESCO's New Biosphere Reserves Across 11 Countries
UNESCO has approved the designation of 11 new biosphere reserves in 11 countries including 2 transboundary biosphere reserves.
The new biosphere reserves are located in Colombia, Dominican Republic, Italy, Mongolia, Netherlands, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Slovenia, Spain, Belgium & Gambia.
The World Network of Biosphere Reserves now totals 759 sites in 136 countries.

India and Taiwan Team Up for Historic Organic Products Agreement
The Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) for organic products between India and Taiwan started on July 8, 2024, during the 9th Working Group on Trade Meeting in New Delhi.
Organic products certified under India’s National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP) can be sold in Taiwan with the “India Organic” logo.
Taiwanese organic products can also be sold in India with “Taiwan Organic” logo.
