UPSC Engineering Services (ESE) 2025 Notification Out, Apply Online

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the notification for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE)- 2025 on 18 September 2025. The UPSC ESE 2025 Online Application Form can be submitted from 18 September to 8 October 2024. The UPSC Engineering Services Prelims Exam will be held on 9 February 2025. The eligible Engineering Graduate can apply online for the UPSC ESE 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess full-time B.E./B.Tech. degree in the following disciplines from a recognized University or Institution:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
Age Limit 2025 (as on 01.01.2025)
Applicant’s minimum age should be 21 years and the upper age limit should not exceed 30 years. Applicants must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1995 and not later than 1st January, 2004.

Selection Process 2025
To get final selection for the Engineering Services Examination 2025, candidates will have to undergo the following stages mentioned below:
- Prelims Exam (500 Marks) – Offline
- Mains Exam (600 Marks) – Offline
- Personality Test/Interview (200 Marks)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Salary
Candidates selected for the post of IES Officer (Grade A) through the Engineering Services Examination will earn a handsome salary structure as per Level 10. The monthly pay scale ranges from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500/-. In addition to the basic pay, candidates will earn a variety of perks and allowances as per the guidelines of the Govt.
