SSA Chandigarh TGT Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.
- The relevant CTET paper-II should be eligible for the subject.
Age limit (on 1 January 2025):
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 37 years
- Age exemption will apply as per the rules of Chandigarh administration.
SSA Chandigarh TGT Selection Process 2025
The selection process is completely qualified-based and includes the following stages:
1. Written test
- The written examination will be objective-type and OMR-based.
- Candidates have to score at least 40% (35% for reserved categories) to qualify.
- Negative marking of 0.25 points for each wrong answer.
2. Document verification
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents.
- Educational certificate, CTET certificate, category certificate (if applied), and ID proof.
- No interview will be conducted for this recruitment.
