Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship

The Merit-cum-Means (MCM) scholarship is designed for students belonging to the GEN, GEN-EWS, and OBC categories. To qualify for this scholarship, the parental gross income of the applicant must not exceed Rs 4,50,000 per annum. Applicants are required to submit Income Tax Return (ITR) documents with acknowledgment from the IT Department as proof of income.

Key Details of MCM Scholarship:

  • Eligibility: GEN, GEN-EWS, and OBC category students.
  • Income Criteria: Parental gross income must not exceed Rs 4,50,000.
  • Academic Criteria: Students must maintain a SGPA/CGPA of 7.0 or above without any active backlogs.
  • Benefits: Recipients will receive pocket money of Rs 1,000 per month.
  • Limitations: The scholarship is limited to 25% of the class strength. Students can only avail one scholarship or financial aid from a single source during a given period.

ST/SC Scholarship

The ST/SC scholarship aims to support students from the SC and ST categories. To be eligible for this scholarship, the parental gross income must not exceed Rs 4,50,000 per annum. Similar to the MCM scholarship, applicants must submit ITR documents with acknowledgment as proof of income.

Key Details of ST/SC Scholarship:

  • Eligibility: SC and ST category students.
  • Income Criteria: Parental gross income must not exceed Rs 4,50,000.
  • Academic Criteria: Students must secure a SGPA/CGPA of 7.0 or above without any active backlogs.
  • Benefits: Recipients will receive pocket money of Rs 250 per month, along with refunds for license fees and dining charges based on eligibility.
  • Limitations: There is no limit on the number of SC/ST scholarships awarded as long as criteria are met. Only one financial aid can be availed from a single source during an academic year.
