CAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The CAT application form 2023 is scheduled to become available on August 2, 2023, and only qualified students will be able to apply. CAT 2023: New Changes

The exam pattern and syllabus have not changed.
FCAI degree holders’ CAT eligibility has been expanded. They are now also eligible to take the CAT.
Fees for General category candidates have been increased from INR 2,300 to INR 2,400 and for Reserved category candidates from INR 1,150 to INR 1200.
Candidates were required to indicate their COVID-19 immunization status on the CAT application form.

CAT 2023 Selection Process

Candidates who clear the CAT 2023 cutoff will be invited to participate in the CAT exam selection process. Each IIM and MBA college may have a unique admissions process, which may involve candidate shortlisting based on CAT 2023 score, WAT, GD/PI. All CAT participating institutes, including IIMs and non-IIMs, accept CAT results. Six IITs, IISc Bangalore, NITs, JNU, IMT Ghaziabad, IPU, MDI Gurgaon, and SPJIMR Mumbai are among the non-IIMs that accept CAT scores.
